The Sanbona Wildlife Reserve - 54 000 hectares (208 square miles) in extent, situated at the foot of the Warmwaterberg, in the heart of the Little Karoo, named for the Khoi-San people who roamed and hunted in this area for over 400 centuries. It is home to more than 50 species of wild animals, 178 species of birds, 650 different plants; it is a vast and beautiful area with mountains, kloofs, valleys and undulating plains, stunning rock formations, extra-ordinary vegetation and fascinating rock art: a unique destination with a special type of magic - less than 3 hours drive from Cape Town.
NOW YOU CAN OWN A PIECE
OF THIS MAGIC!
Own a piece of the vastness, the tranquility and
the serene splendour of the Little Karroo. Lay claim
to your very own share of "One of the 100 Best
Places in the World" (UK Harpers and Queen.)
Animals roam wild and free over 54 000 hectares. You can have a stake in this freedom with your very own Private Game Lodge. Freehold title and flexible designs allow you to own a lodge that mirrors your personality as well as your love of the great outdoors.
The price of a Lodge includes furniture and fittings, curtains, duvets, linen, blankets, pillows, towels, lamps, knives forks and spoons. The kitchen is fitted with Bosch equipment: fridge and deepfreeze, microwave oven,dish-washer, washing machine and a gas hob. The price of the Lodge also includes a 4x4 GAME-VIEWER VEHICLE (open Land Rover - seats 12)
Lodges can be individually owned or purchased by
a group of share-holders or by a syndicate, a company
or a close corporation. Furniture and fittings can
be provided by our designers and are included in
the basic price but, if you would prefer it, you
can use your own interior decorator.
Your own 4x4 open Game-viewer vehicle (which is included in the overall purchase price of each Lodge) allows you to meander at will along more than 200km of private roads within the Reserve, by day or by night. (2-way radios are fitted.)
